Well, it's day 100.  I set out to do a thing and I did it. More importantly, I am more convinced than ever that creativity begets creativity and also calls our dreams of healing change into being. During the course of this project I forged a relationship with my estranged father, threw a spontaneous holiday party, adopted a cat, was invited to sing, dance, and act in an original show, participated in said show, began (finally) recording some of my original tunes, and made art almost every single day. Any one of these things is kind of a big deal if you ask me. In short, my capacity to live, to love, and to be who I am has expanded greatly in response to these little daily acts of bravery. I also learned a lot about line, color, depth, and composition, just from playing around with scraps and images. Hip hip hooray. No sense stopping now. Let's go a full year. Join me won't you?
