 July 18 came and went. I spent hours finally taking down the collage-a-day art show that has been gracing my walls for the past few weeks. When I laid down and closed my eyes at the end of the day I mumbled, "Wait, I didn't make a collage today". Then it was morning. I made this character first thing. I call it Man in Hat. But now he looks like a kind of enforcer. The Sheriff. He wants to enforce the rules. How can I call it collage-a-day now? I missed a day. I have to call it collage-every-day-except-one.  I made a big mistake. My heart hurts a little bit. Well, Sheriff,  I can forgive myself and move on. I can still love myself if I missed a day. What about you, Sheriff, can you still love me? If not, perhaps it's time to mosey.
